DelVal Dawgs Football and Cheerleading

We are offering an On-Line football and cheer registration program this year. “How to register On-Line” instructions will be posted soon.

OnLine Registration: 5-March-2012
Starting March 5, 2012, parents will be able to securely enter their child’s registration information online. This process will reduce (not eliminate) parental overhead.

Walk In Registration: 7-March-2012
Parents that wish to submit registration information via paper forms can still do so March 7, 2012. Here, parents are required to print out and complete all 2012 forms before attending registration night. Details on registration night location and time to be posted soon.

In all cases, the usual Pop Warner qualification information is still required. Player’s medical and academic papers must still be submitted. This information is not required during online registration however is must be presented before practice starts (July/Aug ish)

We have scheduled our annual year-end Dawgs (cheer/football) ceremony:
* Date: Thursday, January 12, 2012
* Time: 6pm
* Where: Del Val High School Auditorium
Please have the players and cheerleaders at the school by 5:30. They can meet up with their teammates and coaches. They will proceed into the auditorium as a team. Parents are invited into the auditorium after dropping off the players. Refreshments will be served in the cafeteria following the Ceremony.

The Dawgs are now offering a super nifty great (i.e., professional quality) DVD of select games. In addition to game footage, your football player is likely to introduce themselves to you on this awesome DVD… A MUST see and order…

Every Dawg participant, both football and cheer alike, should be extremely proud of their 2011 accomplishments. There was significant progress made and challenging competition to overcome. Although we endured moments of unfortunate frustration, we relished in great wins and positive experiences. Each and every member should be proud of their individual participation and contribution. More importantly, each individual should embrace the greater good their contribution and participation had on our community. Its not always about winning games, its about winning as people and becoming positive role models.

Uniform Return Instructions
Please make sure the following clothing is washed:
1) game jerseys and pants 2) practice jerseys and pants, 3) girdles

• You can wash the rib pads and 7 pc. pad set in your washers.
• Pre-treat 7pc. pad set with soft scrub then wash alone. Do not put rib pads or 7 pc pad set in the dryer because it will damage it. They must be air dried.
• Return 7pc. pad set back in zip lock bag
• All mouth guards must be removed from helmets
• Return shoulder pads as they are
